On June 21, 2018, Li Liming and his wife Cui Xia, Chairman and President of Hainan Keenwin Group donated 10 million yuan to support their alma mater to be listed in the "Double-class" initiative. On behalf of Hubei University, Shang Gang, the Party Committee Secretary signed a donation agreement with Li Liming. Vice President Gu Haoshuang and Qian Jianguo attended the donation ceremony. Leaders of The school office, the Cooperation Development Office, the Postgraduate Institution, our school and related units, and representatives of teachers and students attended the donation ceremony.

Li Liming shared a 30-year history of entrepreneurial struggle, saying that he donated 10 million "double-class" construction funds to his alma mater. He thanked his alma mater for his education. What's more he hopes that he can encourage students to study hard and contribute to the development of alma mater and attract more talents to engage in the “double-class” construction.

Shang Gang thanked Li Liming and Cui Xia for their strong support for the development of the university. He said that Li Liming is an entrepreneur with humanistic feelings and strategic vision. His alma mater is proud of such an excellent alumnus and will live up to his expectations to alma mater.
